Cacao Ceremony

Cacao has been used for 1000s of years for ceremonial purposes in many different Central and South American cultures such as the Mayan and Aztec. Pure Cacao is also known for its’ medicinal powers being very high in antioxidants and minerals such as magnesium and iron. Cacao also contains mood enhancing chemicals such as serotonin and tryptophan - during a cacao ceremony it is this that helps us arrive at bliss states and combined with the beautiful Spirit of the Cacao plant this allows for Heart Opening and inner healing.

I combine Cacao with breath and movement and provide a gentle healing soundscape to drift off with.

A cacao ceremony lasts about 1.5-2 hours

Self-Massage

Self-massage is a wonderful self-care tool and when used well can help reduce tension and chronic pain. The beauty of these tools is that they can be take anywhere with you and you can use them daily to stay in touch with your body, manage chronic tension and get to know yourself deeply. I not only teach valuable techniques but we will dive into how emotions, stress, and how we think may affect our body and how self- massage as a tool can help support you in changing patterns and even regulate emotions.

 

There are currently 4 different workshops:

  • Self-massage for Neck & Shoulders

  • Self-massage for Hips & Lower Back

  • Self-massage for Feet & Legs

  • Regulating Your Nervous System

 

I am open to creating workshops that blend these  based on your specific wants or needs.
